Steerage Song is an extraordinary new musical about emigration to the United States in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, created by Peter Rothstein and Dan Chouinard. Laura is in the on-stage band, on flutes, whistles, pipes, concertina. The singer/actors are fabulous, and the music - from traditional to Tin Pan Alley - is marvelous. Running Wednesdays - Sundays, through October 20th.
