Oral History Project Launch Party

The Celtic Junction Arts Center, 836 Prior Ave N, St. Paul, MN

The Celtic Junction Arts Center’s Eoin McKiernan Library is celebrating the completion of an oral history project with a concert and exhibition of photos on June 16th at the Celtic Junction. The concert will feature performances and stories from musicians interviewed for the project including Marty McHugh, Tom Dahill, Ann and Charlie Heymann, Laura MacKenzie, John McCormick, Pete Tritz and Dáithí Sproule. Doors open at 6:30 for a photo/sound exhibition with music starting at 7:30 and the event is free!

The Frothy Band returns to Imminent for several sets of traditional Irish dance tunes and songs. The band includes Mary Vanorny (fiddle), Tom Klein (uillean pipes), Matt Wehling (mandolin), Paul Wehling (guitar, bouzouki, songs) and Laura MacKenzie (flute, whistles, songs).
