Minnesota's second bal folk festival - folk dances from France and beyond featuring Leslie Barr (Washington DC), Jonathan Whitall and Meg Dedolph (Chicago, IL), the BreTones (Laura MacKenzie, Tom Klein and Bob Walser), plus Dan "Daddy Squeeze" Newton and the Minnesota Bal Folk Orchestra. All dances will be taught. No partner or experience needed! No advance ticketing - Come and enjoy a beautiful evening, in a gorgeous rustic setting! Donations welcome, onsite. AND: There is also a dance workshop at 3pm, onsite, followed by a potluck supper before the Bal - "Dances from many regions of France will be taught by experienced dance leaders in love with these traditions.
