The Pipers Gathering is an annual musical convention that features "alternative" bagpipes of all sorts, generally convening for a long weekend in August of every year, out in Connecticut. This year a partway-to-august online gathering will feature concerts, sessions, workshops and lessons with players of English bagpipes, Sackpipa, Gaita, Scottish smallpipes and Uilleann pipes, plus Hurdy Gurdy, flute and whistle. Laura will be joining the marvelous Julian Goodacre in presenting music and fun on various English bagpipes on the Friday and Saturday of the gathering.
